This is definitely one of my favorite breakfast/brunch recipes. With such a love for strawberry shortcake. I just had to create this delicious recipe. I really appreciate a universal recipe. A recipe that adults and kids can enjoy!!! And most importantly a recipe that doesn’t take forever to make.

Strawberry Shortcake Belgian Waffles

To start using your favorite brand of waffle mix. Prepare the mix as instructed. Making waffles from scratch is cool. In instances, you need to get food on the table grab an already prepared mix. And get to mixing lol. Place the batter in the waffle maker and take in the aroma.

Grab your favorite saucepan! Add the strawberries along with sugar lemon juice and water. Stir the mixture to dissolve the sugar. Allow the strawberries to break down. As the strawberries break down combined with the sugar it will thicken. FYI stir the sauce cautiously and don’t allow it to burn. Turn stove off and set aside.
