Cajun Blackened Shrimp Tacos, seasoned with the perfect blend of authentic cajun blackened seasoning. And seared until perfectly charred. Then wrapped with a warm corn tortilla. Ingredients

  • shrimp cleaned + deveined
  • oil for shrimp + to coat pan
  • 1 tablespoons paprika smoked or hot
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon accent
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • tortillas corn or flour
  • onions
  • cilantro fresh
  • lime / lemon

Instructions

  • Take paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, accent, black pepper, cayenne pepper, oregano, red chili flakes and combine in a small bowl.
  • Start off by drizzling a small amount of oil unto the shrimp.
  • Add some of the seasoning blend to the shrimp and combine it thoroughly.
  • Add oil to a hot skillet, adding shrimp sear on each side until cooked.
  • Using a separate skillet add a small amount of oil, before placing tortillas in the pan. Allow tortillas to warm up on each side.
  • Add Cajun Blackened Shrimp to a warm tortilla along with diced onions, fresh cilantro and a fresh squeeze of lemon/ lime juice.
