Ingredients

  • 2-3 chicken breast halved
  • 1 tbsp montreal chicken seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper add desired amount
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp adobo
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Taking cleaned chicken breast and slicing in half.
  • Using a medium-sized bowl add montreal chicken seasoning, cayenne pepper, coriander, adobo, oregano, minced garlic, dried parsley, olive oil, lemon juice and combine.
  • Add chicken to mixture and marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes to overnight.
  • After the marinating process, allow the chicken to sit for about 10 minutes.
  • Using a large skillet add oil. Once the oil is hot add seasoned chicken and sear on both sides until cooked thoroughly.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Using a skillet or pot melt butter. Once butter is melted add rice and allow it to toast for about 3-4 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  • Add paprika, turmeric, cumin, salt and combine.
  • Add broth or water and stir once more to combine.
  • Bring to a boil and lower the heat. Cover with a lid and cook until rice reaches desired texture.
