Best Salmon Patties Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Pink Salmon
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • onion powder to taste
  • paprika to taste
  • 1 eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 3-4 drops Worcestershire sauce
  • bread crumbs add small amounts until salmon patty mold easily
  • 1/4 add more or less cup bell peppers red/ green diced small
  • 1/4 add more or less cup onions
  • 1/2 – 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • Lemon Dill Sauce Recipe
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 tsp dill paste or fresh dill
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • lemon juice

Instructions

  • Drain, de-bone, and remove the skin from the salmon if preferred. Break salmon into bite-size pieces.
  • Saute diced bell peppers, onions, and minced garlic. Set aside and allow the veggies to cool slightly before adding to the mixture.
  • Add salt, black pepper, onion powder, paprika, worcestershire sauce, eggs, mayo, sauteed veggies, and bread crumbs.
  • Combine mixture, and mold the patties. Add more breadcrumbs as necessary.
  • Coat salmon patties with bread crumbs
  • Using medium-high flame add the patties to the hot oil and fry on both sides.
  • Creamy Lemon Dill Sauce
  • Add mayo, dill, minced garlic, lemon juice and combine.

My Aunt used to cook us Salmon Patties with Rice for dinner on many occasions, along with Aunt Jemima Syrup and it was totally delicious!
