  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Rosemary
  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Onions Sliced
  • Bell Peppers Sliced
  • Olive Oil To Saute' Veggies
  • Salt To Season Veggies
  • Adobo To Season Veggies
  • Ground White or Black Pepper To Season Veggies
  • Olive Oil To Sear Beef
  • Beef Broth
  • Beef Bullion Cubes or Powder
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • Sherry Or Red Cooking Wine
  • 1/4 cup Barbecue Sauce
  • 4 tbsps Water
  • 1 tsp Tomato Paste

Instructions

  • Preparation
  • Preheat Oven To 375F
  • Start By Washing Pot Roast Thoroughly Removing Any Impurities.
  • Using A Paper Towel Pat Dry.
  • Using A Paring Knife Place Slits Into Beef.
  • Season Both Sides With Salt, Pepper, Onion Powder, Paprika, Sage, Marjoram, Olive Oil, Worcestershire Sauce, And Rosemary.
  • Cover With Saran Wrap And Place Into The Refrigerator To Marinate For 2 Hours.
  • Using All-Purpose Flour Dredge Pot Roast On Both Sides.
  • Shake Off Any Excess Flour.
  • Add Oil To Dutch Oven
  • Sauté Onions And Bell Peppers. Remove From Dutch Oven And Set Aside
  • Add Olive Oil To Dutch Oven.
  • Fry Pot Roast On Both Sides Until Brown.
  • Taking Reserved Onions And Bell Peppers Place On Top Of Pot Roast.
  • Add Beef Broth, Bullion Cubes, Bay Leave, And Sherry Cooking Wine.
  • Place Into 375F Degree Oven. Roast For About 2 1/2 Hours Before Checking On Pot Roast.
  • Add Potatoes And Carrots During The Last 30 Minutes.
  • Tips:
    To Thicken Gravy, Using A Small Bowl Combine Flour And Water, Adding BBQ Sauce And Tomato Paste.
  • Stirring Continuously Eliminating Any Lumps In Slurry.
  • Add To Gravy, Stir To Combine.
  • Place Into Oven For An Additional 15-20 Minutes, Until Sauce Thickens.
  • Serve And Enjoy!!!
