Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, montreal chicken seasoning, and creole seasoning, to the pork chop.
Rub seasonings into the meat.
Dredge lightly with flour, shaking off any excess.
Using a large skillet add oil and fry until golden brown on each side.
Remove and set pork chops aside.
Removing any excess oil from the skillet. Leave a small amount of oil in the pan.
Add sliced or chopped onion and saute for about one minute before adding flour.
Combine flour and onions before adding broth or water.
Continuously stir until gravy is smooth and no clumping is present.
Add chicken bullion powder, garlic powder, and paprika. Combine ingredients with gravy.
Allow sauce to slightly thicken before re-adding the pork chops to the sauce.
Make sure pork chops are submerged into the gravy, take some of the onions, and add it to the top of the pork chop.
Reduce the flame to low and cover with a lid. Allow the pork chops to simmer and cook all the way through.
Check periodically and stir to assure food isn't sticking the pan.
Remove from stovetop and serve with mashed potatoes or rice and biscuits.
Mashed Potato Recipe
Start off with peeling and rinsing the potatoes. Cut in large cubes and boil until fork tender.
Drain the water, mash, add 1/2 and 1/2, butter and salt to taste.
