Taco Stuffed Shells Recipe jumbo shells stuffed with perfectly seasoned meat. Along with, a delicious blend of added cheeses for extra mouthwatering flavor creating the ultimate cheese pull.

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil Drizzle to coat pan
  • 48 oz Ground Turkey Substitute with preferred ground meat
  • 1-2 Medium Onion Diced
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 Packet Taco Seasoning Mild or Hot & Spicy
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper Diced
  • 1/2 Yellow Bell Pepper Diced
  • 1/2 Tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Paprika
  • 1 Tbsp Montreal Chicken Seasoning
  • Salt & Black Pepper To Taste
  • 1 Jar Salsa For Meat and Reserve Extra To Top Shells
  • 1 1/2 Jars Pasta Sauce To Coat Casserole Dish and To Top Shells
  • Taco Blend Cheese Add Desired Amount
  • Mozzarella Cheese Add Desired Amount
  • Dried Parsley For Topping Optional
  • 1 16 oz box Jumbo Shells

Instructions

  • To a preheated large pan add oil to coat pan. However, if using ground beef don't add oil to pan.
  • Adding diced onions and minced garlic and combining.
  • Adding meat to pan and combining with onions and garlic.
  • Browning meat and straining off any excess oil or water.
  • Adding taco seasoning and combining.
  • Adding garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, montreal chicken seasoning and salt and ground black pepper to taste and combining.
  • Adding diced bell peppers.
  • Adding salsa and combining.
  • Adding cheese and incorporating
  • Turning stovetop off
  • Preheating oven to 350F
  • Boiling pasta until al dente
  • Placing pasta sauce in casserole dish.
  • Stuffing jumbo shells with meat before placing into casserole dish.
  • Topping with salsa, pasta sauce, and cheese.
  • Topping with dried parsley (Optional)
  • Covering with aluminum foil and placing in 350F oven and baking until cheese melts.
  • Setting aside and allowing to cool before serving.
