Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoon pineapple juice
  • One can pineapple slices
  • One small bottle maraschino cherries
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preparation using a nonstick pan and spraying nonstick spray in each cupcake slot for reassurance.
  • Combining brown sugar with melted butter.
  • Adding mixture to cupcake pan, Carefully adding pineapple slices.
  • Placing cherries in center of pineapples and setting baking pan aside.
  • Adding eggs to sugar and mixing until combined.
  • Adding pineapple juice and combining.
  • Adding flour and salt and combining, until batter has smooth consistency.
  • Adding about 3 to 4 tablespoons of batter to each cupcake slot.
  • Placing into preheated 350°F oven.
  • Baking for about 20 to 25 minutes or until fragrant or sticking a toothpick in center and coming out clean assuring cupcakes are finished baking.
  • Allowing cupcakes to cool for about 10 minutes, Before placing a plate over cupcake pan and releasing cupcakes.
