Jerk Pork Recipe

Nothing Says Island Flavor More Than This Seasoned To Perfection Delicious And Tender Melt In Your Mouth Jerk Pork Recipe. Using a contrast of island seasonings that pair perfectly together creating an award winning unresistable taste.

Ingredients

  • Salt and lemon juice to clean meat
  • 5 to 6 pounds pork shoulder cut into cubes
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons jerk seasoning
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 2 tablespoon ginger root cut into small pieces
  • 2 to 3 bunches spring onions aka scallions
  • 4 springs fresh cilantro
  • 2 springs fresh parsley
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons Jamaican browning sauce
  • 1 tablespoon flavor enhancer

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F
  • Wash pork with salt and lemon juice and pat dry.
  • Dice, chop and slice onions, scallions, ginger, cilantro, and parsley
  •  Add jerk seasoning, onion, scallions aka green onions, ginger, flavor enhancer cilantro and parsley. 
  • Combine all ingredients using using gloved hands or mixing spoon. Once all ingredients are combined place in baking pan, Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 400°F for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
  • Serve with rice and peas, sweet plantain, veggies, and or roti.
