Sweet Chili Sticky Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken Wings Cleaned
  • Oil For Frying
  • Salt To Taste
  • Black Pepper To Taste
  • Flour All-Purpose To Coat Chicken
  • SAUCE INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cup Water
  • 2/3 cup Sugar Granulated
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Minced
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Chili paste or 1 tbsp
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch + 3 Tbsp water Combine both ingredients (slurry)

Instructions

  • Preheat oil.
  • Taking cleaned chicken, season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Coat with flour and place in hot oil to fry until thoroughly cooked
  • Remove, place on a cooling rack to allow excess oil to drain off.
  • Sauce Instructions
  • For the sauce, add 1 1/2 cup water, rice vinegar, sugar, salt, minced garlic and combine.
  • Cook sauce until slightly thicken 3-4 min, add chili paste and combine.,
  • Add 2 tbsps cornstarch and 3 tbsps water to sauce and stir until well combined
  • Add chicken pieces and coat with sweet chili sauce.
