Ingredients

  • Oil To Deep Fry
  • Salt To Taste
  • Ground Black Pepper To Taste
  • All-Purpose Flour To Dredge Chicken
  • SAUCE INGREDIENTS
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic Minced
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger Grated
  • 1/2 Tsp Chili Flakes
  • 1/4 Cup Rice Wine
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce Low Sodium
  • 1/4 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar Substitute With White Wine Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar Granulated
  • 1/2 Tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/2 Tbsp Water

Instructions

  • Using medium-high heat add oil to skillet.
  • Taking cleaned chicken, season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Dredge lightly with flour, shaking off any excess.
  • Fry chicken until cooked all the way through and set aside.
  • SAUCE PREPARATION
  • Using a saucepan add oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, chili flakes, rice wine, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and sugar.
  • Combining all ingredients and allow to simmer.
  • Combine cornstarch and water to make a (slurry).
  • Add cornstarch and water mixture to thicken the sauce.
  • After sauce begins to thicken, add wings and coat with sauce.
