Preparation
Taking washed and cleaned chicken, separating chicken skin from flesh when finished pat dry.
Taking room temperature butter add chicken bouillon powder, pepper, rosemary, garlic, salt, thyme, and combine.
Seasoning chicken thoroughly with seasoned butter.
Placing in roasting pan, place in preheated oven at 450°F oven on center rack.
After 10 to 15 minutes, reduce temperature to 350°F allowing chicken to roast for 20 minutes per pound.
Example: A 7 pounds chicken should roast for 2 hour 20 minutes to 2 hour 30 minutes.
Placing thermometer in thickest part of chicken, thermometer should read 165°F or greater to assure chicken is cooked all the way through.
Removing from oven, allowing chicken to rest for about 15 to 20 minutes before carving.
