PreparationPat dry cleaned turkey and set aside.
Taking 6 tablespoons of butter add dry seasonings, minced garlic, drizzle of olive oil and combine all ingredients.
Using about 2 tablespoons of butter, roll in palm of hands. Making a ball place under skin of turkey. Using other hand placed on top of turkey gently massage, to smooth out butter. Repeat process all over turkey.
Adding remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter along with 1 tablespoon of olive oil drizzle onto the outer skin of turkey. (Top and
Bottom). The Olive Oil will prevent the butter from burning.
Taking extra dry rub seasoning, sprinkle liberally unto Turkey, while being sure to season well.
Optional (Cover and allow turkey to marinate for couple hours)
Oven Bag Instructions (Disclaimer As Per Oven Bag Company).
Place 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour into bag. (This will prevent bag from breaking).
Carefully placing turkey into oven bake bag, be sure to tie bag securely using provided twist tie.
Using a scissors make six small slits.
Placing into preheated 350° oven allow the turkey to bake for 2 1/2 to 3 hours (according to size)
Be sure to check on turkey periodically.
After the allowed baking time, remove turkey setting aside allowing the turkey to rest before carving.
