Preparation
Using , a large pot adding olive oil, diced onions, sautéing until translucent.
Adding minced garlic and combining.
After garlic is cooked through add red and green bell peppers,
Combining all ingredients.
Adding water, and Smoked Turkey pieces (or Pork Pieces) on low heat.
Allowing me so go through slow cooking process until tenderized.
Removing meat from pot, Shredding, and re-adding meat and bones back to pot.
Adding chicken broth, pinch of salt to taste, season salt to taste, red pepper chili flakes to taste, onion powder to taste, garlic powder to taste.
Taking thoroughly washed Collard Greens and placing into pot.
Allowing collard greens to cook until softened.
