Blackened Shrimp Tacos
Blackened Shrimp Tacos, shrimp seasoned with the perfect blend of authentic blackened pepper seasoning. And wrapped with a soft warm corn tortilla shell. I didn’t have to add any sauce or additional toppings, just a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro and that’s all it took to take these blackened shrimp tacos to the next level. Did I forget to mention these delicious tacos are quick and easy to put together and can be served up as an appetizer, light lunch, dinner or snack? And most importantly you don’t have to worry about packing on the pounds because the calorie intake while eating these tacos is very very minimal, so you can indulge until you’ve had enough with only the pleasure and not the guilt!
Blackened Shrimp Tacos
Ingredients
- Shrimp Amount Desired
- Olive Oil
- Hot Pepper Blackened Seasoning I Use McCormick But You Can Use Any Preferred Brand - Season To Taste
- Tortillas Corn Or Flour
- Lemon Or Lime Wedges
Instructions
- Taking cleaned and deveined shrimp, adding small amount of olive oil to coat.
- Sprinkling desired amount of Blackened Seasoning and combining.
- Using a hot cast iron or non stick skillet, coating pan with a small amount of olive oil and adding shrimp.
- Searing shrimp on both side until pink. Removing shrimp and setting aside.
- Using a clean pan and drizzling a small amount olive oil add tortillas and warm on both sides.
- Removing warmed tortillas, adding blackened shrimp, fresh cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice.
