  1. Tammy just wanted to thank you for sharing your recipe..I can tell it’s going to be good. .I’m going to get it right.,I have to share this with you. I said simple enough..I will cut through the chase. My sauce had a nice texture I thought so anyway used all turbinado cane sugar taste it not sweet at all added a little more sugar started to thicken up I could hardly pour it on. I said oops this is not going to turn out right it was like that ok fashion like candy they use to make long time ago I’m trying to save the dish right now I added water it had hard chunks like candy on top.you would not believe this????? can’t even get upset it’s hilarious. I love your recipe….I’m going to get it

  2. I don’t want to leave a message negative comment but I tried this recipe and it didn’t look like yours. It turned almost to a caramel consistency where yours was more syrup-like. Did you add water when adding the butter or did you use more butter than noted in the recipe?

  3. 3 stars
Nutmeg burns. The sauce never looks like your video; yours is watery looking. Mines is thick and chunky. It’s only when the sauce gets hot! That it thins out to a Carmel dipping sauce, it still doesn’t look like yours in the video? I tried to taste the sauce , when I blew on it to cool…the sauce turns crunchy like weather’s candy…but only when we removed or don’t use “nutmeg” .
