Ingredients
shrimp
cleaned + deveined
oil
for shrimp + to coat pan
1 tablespoons paprika
smoked or hot
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon accent
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon ground dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon red chili flakes
tortillas
corn or flour
onions
cilantro
fresh
lime / lemon
Instructions
Take paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, accent, black pepper, cayenne pepper, oregano, red chili flakes and combine in a small bowl.
Start off by drizzling a small amount of oil unto the shrimp.
Add some of the seasoning blend to the shrimp and combine it thoroughly.
Add oil to a hot skillet, adding shrimp sear on each side until cooked.
Using a separate skillet add a small amount of oil, before placing tortillas in the pan. Allow tortillas to warm up on each side.
Add Cajun Blackened Shrimp to a warm tortilla along with diced onions, fresh cilantro and a fresh squeeze of lemon/ lime juice.
