Ingredients

  • Ingredients Needed
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil for stir frying
  • 1/4 yellow onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups precooked roast pork cubed
  • 2 tablespoons jerk seasoning
  • 1/2 scotch bonnet pepper optional
  • One tablespoon freshly chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup assorted bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup frozen veggies
  • 2 cups precooked pre-chilled white rice
  • Low sodium soy sauce
  • Green onions garnish
  • Salt ground black pepper, MSG to taste

Instructions

  • Preparation
  • Using low medium heat adding olive oil to pre heated wok.
  • Sautéing onions, ginger and minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Combining jerk seasoning with roast pork and adding to onion, garlic, ginger, mixture.
  • Stirring and combining before adding scotch bonnet pepper.
  • Adding cilantro, bell peppers and stir frying for about a minute before adding frozen veggies.
  • Adding precooked rice and incorporating.
  • Adding low sodium soy sauce for color and flavor.
  • Adding salt, ground pepper, and msg to taste.
  • Garnishing with the green onions aka scallions.
