Preparation
Start by adding a teaspoon of olive oil or nonstick cooking spray too deep skillet. Adding onions and ground meat cooked meat until brown and cooked all the way through.
Once cooked strain excess water, If any. Return skillet to stovetop.
Adding green bell peppers, stir to combine ingredients. Adding dry seasonings, smoked paprika, chili powder and ground cumin, and salt stir to combine.
Add fire roasted tomatoes, tomato sauce, beans, and water. Stir, cover with lid and simmer on low to low medium heat for 1 hour to 1 hour and fifteen minutes or until chili thickens.
(Optional)
Top with sour cream, cheddar cheese and green onions
