Blackened Shrimp Tacos

Blackened Shrimp Tacos, seasoned with the perfect blend of blackened pepper seasoning. I didn't have to add any sauce or additional toppings, just a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro and that's all it took to take these tacos to the next level. Did I forget mention these tacos are so quick and easy to put together.

Ingredients

  • Shrimp Amount Desired
  • Olive Oil
  • Hot Pepper Blackened Seasoning I Use McCormick But You Can Use Any Preferred Brand - Season To Taste
  • Tortillas Corn Or Flour
  • Lemon Or Lime Wedges

Instructions

  • Taking cleaned and deveined shrimp, adding small amount of olive oil to coat.
  • Sprinkling desired amount of Blackened Seasoning and combining.
  • Using a hot cast iron or non stick skillet, coating pan with a small amount of olive oil and adding shrimp. 
  • Searing shrimp on both side until pink. Removing shrimp and setting aside.
  • Using a clean pan and drizzling a small amount olive oil add tortillas and warm on both sides.
  • Removing warmed tortillas, adding blackened shrimp, fresh cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice.
