Crispy Fried Chicken

Crispy Fried Chicken

My crispy fried chicken tenders, are triple dredged and perfectly seasoned. My homemade fried chicken tenders recipe provides you with everything that you’re looking for when it comes to fried chicken. Crispy outer crust, with a juicy and tender white meat on the inside.

I don’t usually make fried chicken, but booyyyyyyyy, when I do, I go all the way in. After dredging the chicken the first time,  I realized the chicken still looked naked. So I figured why not, let’s put some clothes on this chicken, and so I dredged It again and again, until it was literally wearing a winter coat, so to speak. LOL.

After sitting the chicken on the rack for about 5 minutes, it’s time to deep fry these triple or quadruple battered chicken strips!!! I got so carried away with the dredging process honestly I  lost count. LOL.

Ingredients

  • 1 LB chicken tenders cleaned
  • 1 tbsp white or black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper to taste
  • 2 tsps paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • vegetable oil for deep frying

Instructions

  • Combining flour with salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder.
Adding eggs to a separate bowl and beating.
  • Start off by dredging chicken in flour, egg wash, and flour.
Notes: I like to repeat the dredging process at least 3 times for a nice crunchy coating Allowing it to rest on the rack in between each coating process for about 30second then 1 minute then 2 minutes. This will definitely assure the batter stays on the chicken.
  • Adding chicken to hot oil in frying until golden brown on both sides.
  • Removing chicken and placing on a paper towel, brown paper bag or cooling rack allowing the oil to drain off before serving.
  • Yes I said, "brown paper bag." Lol!!!
  • Enjoy!!!

Removing the tenders from the oil is the best part. Because it’s hard to resist the temptation of the smell and golden brown color. Now it’s definitely time to sink my teeth into my golden brown southern fried chicken tenders!!!

  1. I tried this and it came out really good! I did run out of eggs. Since I only had 3 and was making more than the 3 servings you suggested. I could have seasoned the chicken some some the flavor could really POP, but I got nothing but positive reviews. Just wanted to day thank you
