  • Bundt Pan

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour Sifted
  • 2 – 3 Cups Sugar Granulated (Add sugar amount as desired)
  • 5 Large Eggs
  • 1 1/2 Or 3 Sticks Cups Butter Unsalted
  • 1 Cup 7Up
  • 1 Tbsp Pure Vanilla or Lemon Extract
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Lime / Lemon Zest
  • Frosting
  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Warm Water
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter Melted

Instructions

  • Combining room temperature butter before adding sugar
  • Slowly adding sugar and combining sugar and butter
  • Adding one egg at a time and combining
  • Adding extract vanilla or lemon extract
  • Adding lemon zest and pinch of salt
  • Adding sifted flour 1 cup at a time (Don't over mix)
  • Adding 7Up and combining
  • Adding cake batter to non stick baking pan
  • Baking at 325 F for 1 hour and 15 minutes
  • Allowing cake to cool before icing
  • Icing Instructions
  • Adding butter to microwave for 5 minutes.
  • Adding melted butter to powdered sugar along with vanilla extract and water and combining.
  • Placing in microwave for about 5 seconds to warm icing.
  • Drizzle onto cake
