Oh, and did I forget to mention. This recipe can be substituted with ground beef. Yay!!! Back to what I was saying. I added the perfect complementary seasonings to bring out the best flavors. I had to put the ground turkey misconception to rest. Lol. Proving that ground turkey can be just as tender, juicy and tasteful, like beef.

The trick to bringing out the best flavors in any recipe is to season from beginning to end. Creating depths of delicious flavor in every bite. There are some recipes that call for more than just salt and pepper.

Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs Recipe

Starting off with 3 pounds of freshly ground turkey to create this amazing mozzarella stuffed meatballs recipe. I added garlic and onion powder, salt, ground black pepper. Montreal chicken seasoning, eggs, and breadcrumbs. I added a number of spices, to give theses cheesy stuffed meatballs mouthwatering delicious finger-licking flavor. The added eggs and breadcrumbs not only worked as a binding agent, keeping the meatballs perfectly molded. But also as a moistening agent as well, causing a melt in your mouth effect. But wait the flavor doesn’t stop here. It’s time to make our sauce.

Using my favorite brand of pasta sauce, as delicious as it may taste. I enjoy personalizing the sauce and adding extra spices to boost the flavors even more. For this particular recipe, during the final stage of the browning process, I added chopped onions, sauteeing until translucent. The aroma at this point is so delightful. Adding the sauce to the pan and incorporating it with the meatballs and onions. While the sauce is simmering I add dried oregano and garlic to give the sauce a nice rustic flavor.
